Day 21

Today I pray for prophetic vision and clarity towards 2024

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not a God of confusion but of Peace."

Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions”

Vision: An encounter with God where he imparts new desires and revelation; something supernatural presented to convey what will happen in the future.

Today in these passages, we find messages that emphasise the importance of Prophetic vision in Joel 2:28 and understanding in the context of God's divine order. In this devotion, we will explore the significance of vision as it relates to these passages. 1 Corinthians 14:33 - God of Order: The passage from 1 Corinthians reminds us that "God is not a God of disorder but of peace." It underscores the importance of divine order and understanding within the community of believers. This order, guided by the Holy Spirit, creates a harmonious environment where everyone can contribute to the greater purpose. Joel 2:28 - The Outpouring of the Spirit: Joel speaks of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which will lead to prophetic visions and dreams. This verse anticipates a time when God's people will receive divine insight and guidance through visions and dreams, enabling them to understand His will more deeply. The Significance of Prophetic Vision: Prophetic Vision, as described in these passages, is not limited to mere sight but extends to spiritual discernment and revelation. It is the ability to see with the eyes of faith and understand God's will more profoundly. Vision enables us to comprehend His divine order and fosters unity within the body of Christ. Let us pray for God to grant us vision and understanding: Heavenly Father, we come before You, seeking the gift of prophetic vision and understanding. We desire to see and discern Your divine order in our lives and within our communities. As we anticipate the outpouring of Your Spirit, open our eyes to the prophetic visions and dreams You have for us. May we unify with Your order and work together for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
